More project monogamy around chéz DPUTiger. I’m about halfway through my fourth skein of the Noro Kogarashi on my top-down sweater.
I tried it on last night and the fit, of course, is great. It’s almost halfway between armpit and belt. I like my sweaters a little bit long, so I’m figuring I’ll eat at least one more skein of yarn on the torso, then move on to sleeves. It’s cruising right along, and I already know I’m going to love this sweater.
In other news, I don’t think I’ve shown you the blanket on the loom since it got tied on. It’s been ready to weave for nearly two weeks, which makes me sad. I want to be weaving. I just can’t find the time for it. Boo, hiss.
Maybe next week. Big Deadline is Monday, so maybe if I get that turned in early, I’ll just go hang out with the loom. Let’s hope.

Lovely! I always love the look of Noro...but never have liked knitting with it. This is at least one that I could use since it doesn't contain the evil mohair.
I love the sweater. The noro is perfect for what you're doing. It's going to be gorgeous.
And no matter how much time you have, there is never enough for everything you want to do.....(just ask my spinning wheel how much time we've spent together lately)
Yay for fun knitting! I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to have the loom all ready to go and not get to sit at it. I'm in the same boat as Donna Lee - if my wheel could talk it would claim abandonment.
Love how the sweater is coming along! I hope you get to start weaving soon, because I really want to see this blanket! There are never enough hours in the day, are there?
I love that Noro, but I have a question about top-down sweaters. I tried making one, but when I got to the first sleeve it was a big pain to have that whole body of the sweater flopping around in my lap. I didn't like the way it all fit, anyway, so I frogged it. But how do you deal with the body when you're working on the sleeves?
p.s. did you see my socks made from your Limerick yarn?
